The SDB Christian Education Council is proud to announce the winner of the Mary G. Clare Scripture Memory Bowl, for greatest total participation in the 2019-2020 Scripture Memory program is the New York City, NY, SDB Church with 25 participants in this year’s program.
The winner of the Andrew J. Camenga Award, for greatest participation by percentage of church attendance, is the All Nations SDB Church in Gardena, CA, with 40% of their reported attendance completing the program in 2019-2020.
We appreciate the participation of those who engaged with the 2019-2020 program, even in the midst of a difficult season. Participation was much lower this year than in previous years. We hope that all Seventh Day Baptists will participate in the program in 2020-2021, as we continue to seek the Lord in His Word in the coming year. Information about this year’s program will be announced on the General Conference website and mailed to local churches by early September, along with completion certificates for those who have participated.
