Multiply Conference

SDBs gathered in Colorado Springs to learn about “From Unbeliever to Church Planter” during the 5th annual MULTIPLY Church Development Conference.

Twenty-five SDBs from many different churches came together on Thursday, November 14, 2019, for a pre-conference event with our SDB cohorts. On Thursday evening and Friday, the group gathered at Vanguard Church along with a few hundred others for the MULTIPLY conference sponsored by Frontline Church Planting. The main sessions and speakers were phenomenal and inspiring. This was interspersed with breakout learning, conversations, and worship to make the day complete. The main speakers included John Onwuchekwa of Cornerstone Church (Houston, TX), Nathan Lorick from Colorado Baptists, and disciple-making expert Bill Hull.

For worship on Sabbath, November 16, 2019, the group joined SpringsLife Church for their gathered worship service. Pastor Nate Crandall delivered a meaningful and impactful sermon on “Why Should I Follow Jesus?”, tying into the theme for the weekend. Our SDB cohorts meeting completed our conference by sharing about the steps and skills needed to disciple someone from unbeliever to church planter.
