It’s hard for me to forgive sometimes. I guess it depends on what the other person has done — but shouldn’t depend on that.

Not too long ago, someone hurt me. It doesn’t matter whether it actually

affected me in any way, but what I did about it matters. I chose to forgive

the person. In the moment, I tried doing what was right.

Forgiving him in the moment was hard. I resisted to lash out and fight back. We were both upset.

Luke 3:34 says,

“And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”

And they cast lots to divide his garments.”

Forgive those who hurt you — even if it’s hard.
